Cirencester has a particular rhythm – the Corn Hall on market days, the easy mix of old stone and ambitious kitchens, the short walk from a quiet side street to a terrace where something’s always been thought through. It’s a proper market town with depth, and its hospitality carries the same quality: confident but not showy, warm without working at it.

I work with food, drink and hotel brands here who want imagery that holds onto that quality. Hi I’m Lou

I’m based in South Cerney, minutes from Cirencester town centre. I came to photography through hospitality – years of running an award-winning artisan bakery of my own, before photography became the way I work with brands I believe in.

That background shapes everything I do. I understand how kitchens run, how seasonal menus come together, how a guest experience is built from first look to final plate. When I photograph your space or your work, I’m thinking about how it needs to feel, not just how it needs to look.

What I photograph

In and around Cirencester, I work on food photography for seasonal menus and tasting experiences, drink photography for craft spirits and cocktails, hotel interiors and dining atmosphere, and brand photography for artisan producers and independent food and drink companies. Most shoots combine several of these — a restaurant shoot might cover food, drink, interiors and detail work across a single day.

Every project is shaped around what your brand actually needs, with photography designed to work across your website, social channels, press coverage and print materials.
