barefoot wines
A dream collaboration with Barefoot Wines – blending creativity, seasonal inspiration and a love for brunch to showcase the joy of sharing great food and wine.
For me, this project was about more than just pairing food and drink. It was about capturing the feeling of togetherness – those carefree spring brunches where flavour, friendship and atmosphere come together.
the brief
Barefoot Wines reached out looking for vibrant, seasonal content for their Pink Moscato. While the product was strong and beloved, their existing visuals didn’t fully bring the lifestyle element to life.
They wanted content that could bridge that gap: imagery that felt fresh, joyful and social, inspiring people to see Barefoot Pink Moscato not just as a bottle of wine, but as part of the brunch table.
They asked me to create approachable, dynamic content that would:
- Feel authentic and lifestyle-driven (not staged or overly commercial)
- Inspire their audience with fun, no-fuss recipes
- Showcase the wine as an effortless pairing that elevates everyday moments
The challenge was to design a shoot that balanced approachability with aspiration – creating a recipe and content people could relate to while still feeling inspired.
It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you Lou!
The team is very ecstatic about your work and your recipe will be published on the Barefoot Brunch Hub.

The CREATIVE APPROACH
Barefoot appreciated my vibrant, story-led aesthetic and gave me full creative freedom to design a recipe that felt true to their ethos. I developed Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast Pots, a recipe that mirrored the playful, indulgent character of the Pink Moscato while being simple enough to recreate at home.
“We want people to feel like they could step right into the image – a sense of in the moment.”
Using bright, airy lighting and styling, I captured the carefree spirit of spring brunch. Textures and details were highlighted to create intimacy, while the Pink Moscato was woven naturally throughout the story – not as a product placement, but as part of the experience.
THE RESULTS
The final content delivered a series of vibrant, narrative-driven images that perfectly aligned with Barefoot’s approachable brand voice. Unlike the more traditional product shots, these visuals positioned the wine within a lifestyle context, sparking engagement by showing how it fits into real, joyful moments.
The campaign was featured on the Barefoot Brunch Hub, inspiring people to recreate the recipe at home and sparking conversations around perfect brunch pairings. For Barefoot, this wasn’t just about pretty imagery – it was about connecting their product to the values of sharing, joy and ease.
Final thoughts
Working with Barefoot Wines was an energising and collaborative experience. Their brand is about fun, joy and connection – values that align so closely with my own approach. Being able to translate that into imagery that felt authentic and playful was incredibly rewarding.
This project reinforced why I love working with food and drink brands: to bridge the gap between product and feeling, to create visuals that don’t just show what something looks like, but what it means to share it.
If you’re looking for engaging, visually captivating content that showcases your brand in a fresh, authentic way – I’d love to hear from you. Let’s create something amazing together!
